The steps for drying fresh flowers with silica gel desiccant are as follows:

Lay a layer of silica gel desiccant beads inside the box to ensure that it is large and deep enough to fully cover the flowers.

Place the flowers in a silica gel desiccant, making sure that every part of the flower branch is hidden within the silica gel beads. If necessary, tools such as spoons can be used to assist in completely burying the flowers into the silicone gel. Flowers with larger petals usually have better drying effects.

Wait for the drying process. Usually, silica gel desiccants absorb moisture more quickly, and flowers may only take 2-3 days to completely dry. However, for some wetter flowers, it may take up to 5 days. Carefully remove the dried flowers and remove any adhesive silicone particles. Now, the flowers have dried and can be used for decoration or other purposes.

In addition, silicone desiccants can be reused. When the silica gel beads turn pink, simply put them on a plate and put them in the oven. Heat them to 200 degrees Celsius, and after about an hour, the silicone particles will return to a dry state and can be kept for future use.

Please note that although silica gel desiccant is an effective drying method, not all flowers are suitable for drying using this method. Some flowers may lose their original shape or color during the drying process, so it is best to conduct some experiments before use to understand the drying effect of specific flowers.
